Success!

I successfully sold our Cuisinart Food Processor through Craigslist. $85. Sweet. We received it as a wedding gift (my apologies to whoever bought it for us...thank you again....however, we simply have not put it to use). I used it only once....years ago....it is a great appliance, but it has sat unused, stored away in the back of a cabinet, inaccessible and forgotten. It is now going to belong to a retired couple whose 20 year old Cuisinart recently went kaput. They love to make cole slaw. I am happy my unused Food Processor has found a happy home.

And my $85 profit may now be used to help fund the purchase of some (much needed) new items of clothing.....

  1. Oh Danielle! What about pureeing things for baby?! Of course, there are always those jars in the store...but congrats on your Craigslist transaction. What a great way to make some cash and spend it on something you can really use!

  2. You know, as I was thinking it occurred to me that I don't even have a food processor. I've done all my baby food-making with a blender. I hope you enjoy your little maternity shopping spree!

  3. Carrie - thanks for the comments! Yes, a blender will work just fine. The food processor is great, but just not great when we don't have a dishwasher or good kitchen space. :( Someday we will have ourselves a kitchen that will be more conducive for food processing type activities! Until then, my food processor is very much enjoying its new home. :)
