Thankful

2010 has been a year marked by many "firsts."


First (and hopefully, ONLY) surgery.
First day back at work.
First day of daycare.
First giggles and laughs.


I could more about each of these firsts, but the best word to sum it all up is "Thankful." Thankful for a successful outcome to our baby's surgery! Thankful for a great job, great co-workers, great place of employment that values me and supports me. Thankful for the wonderful care our little JD is receiving half of the week at the Child Development Center and that he is only a 5 minute walk away from me those days. Thankful for the smiles and giggles of our baby boy...and that he likes to talk to mom and dad.

JVD2's first report card....

Joseph and Danielle:

Joseph did well on his first day at the CDC (child development center)!! We saw lots of smiles from him. He was very alert and watched everything! He loved watching the ceiling fan and looking at the snowflakes on the ceiling. Today for our activities we had the big blue ball out and colored fabrics. Joseph's eyes got very big for both activities. :) See you tomorrow!
